Access Devices Announces Q4 2004 Trading Review

LONDON & LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 24, 2005--Access Devices, Inc. (Pink Sheets:ACDJ) (www.accessdevices.co.uk)through its 70 percent (70%) owned subsidiary, Access Devices Digital Limited is a London-based developer of DVB (Digital Video Broadcast) and IPTV (Internet Protocol Television) set-top boxes -- issues the following trading update for Q4 2004.

2004 Review

Sales of ADDL's range of DVB-T (Digital Video Broadcast Terrestrial) and DVB-T with CA (Conditional Access -- for premium services) were consistent with the Directors' expectations.

-- Over the 12 months, over 165,000 ADDL-designed DVB-T set-top boxes were shipped, bringing the running total since the Q3 2002 launch of Freeview to 600,000 units.

-- In Q4 2004, ADDL shipped 40,000 DVB-T TopUpTV-compatible Freeview boxes, representing approximately 25% of the UK Christmas market.

-- By the end of 2004, ADDL's designs appeared under five different brand names in the market.

-- ADDL's unaudited Q4 2004 revenues were GBP 1.6 million ($3 million).

-- ADDL intends to capitalize on its success with the TopUpTV product with similar conditional access products for Europe.
